Each ceramic piece begins as a clay sculpture created by Becky Stout. A silicon mould is then created, and individual ceramic casts made using Resincrete (a durable, eco friendly, water based ceramic and resin composite).

Each ceramic piece is then hand painted and glazed, and picture hooks added to the back.

The glaze provides scratch resistance and waterproofing. Each ceramic is intended for indoor use only.

As each of our ceramic pieces are cast by hand, we are able to create custom colours of your choice.

If you’d like a pink seal or a specific coloured door on a hebridean cottage, simply select the custom order option and provide details of the colours when checking out.

Each piece is carefully bubble wrapped and secured in a suitably sized box. We use recyclable and biodegradable packaging for all our products, including waterproof biodegradable cellulose wrap, recycled greyboard, recyclable cardboard boxes and envelopes.

Our lead times are as follows:

• 1-3 working days for non-personalised products.
• 2-4 working days for personalised products.
• Lead times for commissions average 2-4 weeks subject to availability and will be confirmed upon ordering.

We ship all physical products via Royal Mail or Parcel Force. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more information.

For commissions, digital products will only be delivered via studio@stoutcrafted.com or WeTransfer.

We pride ourselves on creating high quality products and ensure each item is sufficiently packaged to minimise the chance of a product arriving damaged. In the event that a product arrives to you damaged, please refer to our Refund Policy for details on our returns process.

Due to the time-intensive nature of personalised products and commissions, we do not accept refunds and returns on these items. However, if a personalised or commissioned product arrives damaged, then we will look to replace the damaged item.
